Raised in the Bay Area of California, Kali Kole (Guitar/Vox) has been on the road since he was 18 years old.Music always provided a sense of escape… an anthem to whatever events were playing out in his life, and it encouraged him to push forward with his dreams.Now playing music for a total of fifteen years, he got his start on stage playing shows in Tokyo, Japan. He spent two years grinding the live houses and clubs while teaching English and guitar for money before becoming the wild front man for The Stircrazies.
Recently, he graduated from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA and spent time working sound at the Viper Room. His responsibilities included running live sound by night and marketing by day.Residing in Southern California, Kali Kole is on a mission to enjoy life, play music, meet good people and fully live his notion that music is good medicine. He enjoys writing and contributing whatever he can to the music movement in the styles of punk and reggae.
Brendan was born and raised on the East Coast. He taught himself to play guitar in high school and picked up bass after joining The StirCrazies.Influenced by everything from The Beatles to the Chili Peppers and Slightly Stoopid, Brendan found himself headed west to pursue a life of music.Largely involved in the reggae-rock community, Brendan uses his passion for writing to spread the good vibes whenever possible. He is best known for his work as the blogger for Hill Kid Clothing, a lifestyle clothing company founded by Rebelution’s bassist Marley Williams.
Grizzly Al (drums/vox) is no stranger to the San Diego music scene. Living in the Ocean Beach area, he rocks a solid beat for everything from the hardest punk to the softest reggae. When auditioning drummers it was no question that he was the right man for the job. years of live touring, networking, and gigging experience will be invaluable in the coming years for The Stircrazie’s success. Lucas Sullivan (Percussion) is from the Bay Area and now resides in Hollywood, Ca. He has been playing music all his life and is one of those inspiring individuals who can always lift you up. A childhood friend of Kali Kole, he has been supporting The Stircrazies band many years as a friend, mentor, and percussionist to the band. When he is not playing shows with the band he is working on his own masterpiece called “Expose The Root,” and is dedicated to raising public awareness of the Kajukenbo system and it’s dynamic history. The project is aimed at capturing history and educating martial artists about what the Kaju system provides. We wish him the best of luck with his project.
